A Study on Changes in Serum K^(+), Na^(+) and Cl^(-) Concentration after Induction with Epontol-Succinylcholine Chloride

Abstract
|
|
|
To study on changes of serum level of K´, Na´ and Cl- after induction with epontol￢succinylchuline in haalthy adults, physical status 1 or 2 a+)pte3 by the American Society of Anesthesiologist, we studied in twa groups: pe.Itothal soiiu n-succinylcholine induction group (group 1) as control, epontol-succinylcholine induction group (group 2) as experimental.
The results were as follows;
1. Serum K was decreased in both group immdiatly after induction, 0. OlmEq/L in control group, 0. 15mEq/L in experimental group and increase .l 0. 2mEq-L in control group, 0. 03mEq/L in experimental group at 3rd minute after succinylcholine injection, but no statistical significance was noticed in either group.
2. Serum Na & Cl were revealed a little changes in both group but no statistical significance was noticed in either group.
3. There was a lesser changes in serum K , Na & C1 in experimental group than control group and no statistically significant difference between two groups.
